The computer seems to lag or stop after about 3 to 5 minutes. How do I run it in safe mode and should I get rid of Windows 10 back to 7 as 10 seems messy and hard to use.

Hi,
I purchased my HP ProDesk 600 G2 not long ago and it came with both Windows 7 and Windows 10 DVDs. I prefer Linux as my primary OS so that is what is on it now. However I would like to run Windows 7 in VMware Player from Linux.
I installed VMware Player and then installed Windows 7 into a VM using the DVD that came with my PC, however, in the Windows Activation section it says I need a valid product key. I do not see one on the Desktop unit itself, nor can I find one on the media I received.
Where can I get the Windows Product ID for my PC?

H8-1240T Pavilion Upgrade from Win7 to Win10 Went Smoothly
I wanted to let the H8-1240T owners to know that my upgrade from 64-bit Windows 7 Pro to 64-bit Windows 10 Pro went very smoothly last week (June 21, 2016). I had difficulty finding reports about the upgrade so I thought I would add info here. Hope this is helpful. Of course periferals needed to have updated drivers (ie; mouse, printer, scanner) but all are optimal again. I have 10GB of RAM on this computer. Also, Win10 has a lot of new Apps that need to be turned off if you are not using which helps optimize performance. System is running VERY well with Win10. I recommend the upgrade for those who - like myself - have waited til the last minute. Remember, you only have until the end of July 2016 to get Win10 for free. Good luck!

The key is the origional OEM key affixed to the computer.

Can't log in to Windows 10 on my HP Pavilion All In One tried to access Recovery Manager by pressing F11 key at powerup but computer goes to Windows log in screen and prompt me for login pin number or password. Locked out of PC just want to return computer to factory reset state have PDF Manuel but still no luck help to reset to store bought condition please any suggestions please. Only drivers not working is this PCI seriell port.
Ive looked and tried different drivers but I can't seem to find a match for this computer.

errors
I just got this desktop, hp Envy Phoenix 860-170vr and I am having nothing but problems. Dozens of error messages and I cannot use it for more then 5 minutes and it shuts itself down do to some kernel error or another. I have recieved many errors including Kernel security check failure, kmode exception not handled etc etc.... I also get screen flashes and the whole conputer freezes contastly. Help ??

hp envy 27 wont boot up at all

i bought an hp envy 27 inch all in one pc in april 2016
and 2 days ago i turned it on in the morning and it wouldnt start windows at all
was saying trying to repair i tried everything but nothing would work,
so i went on chat with hp and said i would like it picked up and repaired but the guy said no you will have to buy the recovery usb stick so i bought it and it came today
i have sat all day and night trying every option there is to get the media to start up and it just wont boot up into it at all.
im at my wits end its cost me 1600.00 2 months ago and this it just wouldnt come on again
would any one please be able to help me with this please.

HP Proliant ML110 G3 - Can't download the newest BIOS help!
I am trying to download the BIOS update for my HP Proliant ML110 G3 server which is running Windows 7 Ultimate x64 but for some reason there is only one website which allows me to see the new version which is: http://h20564.www2.hpe.com/hpsc/swd/public/readIndex?sp4ts.oid=501876&swLangOid=8&swEnvOid=1113
but for some reason it needs entitlement so i cannot download as i have no warranty. It would be a huge help if someone has entitlement to download it for me or if someone already has the file. Just select Windows 2003, i really need this update thanks!
