hp solution center won't scan to computer

I have 3 HP products, a HP Pavilion dv7 laptop, HP 500Y desktop and a HP Photosmart C309a.  The printer is wireless on the home network.  I can print from either compter. I can scan only from the laptop. Both computers are Windows 7.

I use HP Solution Center to scan both photos and documents.  

               Scans to the laptop work fine.

               Scans to the desktop results in a scanning error window at the desktop.

The error code is 4, [(0,2,80004005), (2,22,80040001), (3,22,0)] 

I have deleted the printer and reinstalled two times.  Windows is up to date on both computers.

This issue is a very recent problem - It worked 2 weeks ago.

Any assistance will be appreciated.
