Morning everyone,
Pavilion HP P6740f 64bit upgraded to Windows 8 Pro with Media Centre.
two things have happened to me in the last couple of days.
first. When I try to burn a DVD I get a blue screen telling me "Drivers irql not less or equal (storport.sys). I run SpeedPC Pro (System wiser is the same thing) and reboot the computer, I can burn my DVD. If I try a second DVD I have to repeat the process..................:manmad:
UPDATE: the DVD is a hp DVD RW AD-7251H5 SATA - first time I tried to burn DVD since I installed Windows 8
after about 5 times like this when rebooting I only get a blank screen after loging in. I had to put a bootable DVD in order to get the desktop...
any ideas?
