I have an HP PRO3500 and I'm trying to enable Hardware Assisted Virtualization under Windows 7 Pro. I have gone into the BIOS and enabled the following:
Security-->System Security-->Virtualization Technology
When I run the hav detection tool, it still says that Hardware assisted virtualization is not enabled. There is another setting in the same area of BIOS named Data Execution Prevention and I have also tried both enabling and disabling this but it doesn't change anything.
Is there something else I need to change that I'm missing? I need to install Windows XP in a virtual machine to work with some legacy software.
Thanks,
Bob
