Hello, was wondering ifi could get some pc advice for the problem im having with my pavillion media center m7000 pc from hp. bought in 2005 i beleive, and has windows 98 on it. last i used it everything seemed ok, it just dident power up the same. asking for a reovery disc saying boot disk failure. but i dont know what disc to get and hp charges 99$ just to chat with them. should i toss the pc or what its a papper weight at this point. can anyone help me? i dont wanna lose the factory setting i rather recover than formate, can i still recover the os or is all hope lost?.
