Hi! I need a liitle help from the PC experts here on the HP forum so that I can pass it forward.

If my PC fails to boot into windows and I have used the F11 to run a dianostics test of my hardware and there were no problems found; do I not need to boot from a live CD next?? Is the system repair disc a live CD? If I can boot into the system  rescue  with the systen repair disc and use the features there to try and get my PC to load windows and nothing there works, is the next step  recover to factory with the hidden partition or the sysytem recovery media.

I have a bunch of live CD's that allow me boot and test my hardware and to let me restore my OS from images that I have made from 3rd party software. I have Hirens. I have Linux Puppy Love. I have Macrium Reflect . I have Bart and Windows PE. I have Memtest 86. I have Seatools dos and a few more.

Ok! Where am I not seeing the big picture?

I would like to post this in HP Cafe, But no one goes there any more.

I came here to help, learn. pass it forward and to make new friends and I think I'm doing all those things.:smileywink:

I welcome all comments. I'm always ready to learn new things.
