I just brought a HP Pavilion 500-120EA and have upgraded to windows 8.1 and have updated all drivers and system updates that i could find. I have noticed that in task manager my ram(memory) usage is at 25-30% without me using the computer. The pc is just idle. Before my upgrade there wasn't an issue now there is. Also when i total the memory usage of each program it does not come close to what the task manager is saying that the computer is using. I have also checked using process_explorer. exe to see if it shows the same. It does.
What can be done about this?
