Who to contact for HP desktop repair

Hello,

 

Firstly, I'll give you a little background information of the problem I've had:

 

I purchased a HP P6-2040 desktop PC from Amazon UK about 2 years ago. It was working perfectly up until about 6-8 months ago when all of a sudden the display stopped working. Now, every time I start the PC my monitor goes into power saving mode because a display is never picked up. I have tried it on numerous other monitors, different HDMI leads etc. The troubleshooting 'beep codes' beep 5 times indicating a "system process failure" as per the HP website. Obviosly this is quite a vague explanation. This issue seemed to occur after an automatic update as after I shut down the PC one time, the next time I went to start it, it wasn't displaying anything and hasn't been ever since. (although I had been having the problem with the display sporadically from time to time but it always usually came back after restarting the PC)  I have delayed repairing the PC until now but it is needed urgently so I am looking to send it to HP for repair.

 

The PC only came with a 1 year warranty so I won't be covered by that. I have looked to start a live chat on this site but they only offer live chat for in-warranty customers. I am looking for advice on what is best to do next. Also, is there any minimum timeframe that a repair would take.
