Hello,
I have a rather odd need....I have a Windows 7 desktop (HP570T) that has been configured to boot a VHD from bare metal i.e. I do not load the normal Windows OS first to start a virtual Windows session. Mind you, I do have a standard Windows OS boot drive as the default but for testing purposes, I use a bare metal VHD.
I need to get to Micrsoft's Windows Recovery Environment for the VHD configured system. When I try this, I end up getting into the default HP Recovery Manager (Cyberlink product). When I select the option to go to Windows Recovery Environment, my machine reboots to the standards Windows boot environment i.e. the default Windows OS.
Any suggestions on how I can have the VHD boot into Windows Recovery environment would be appreciated. Thanks.
Cheers!
