I wiped the existing hard drive in my Pavillion a6610t earlier today. I then inserted the 1st System Recovery disk (Vista Home Premium SP1). It loaded fine and asked for the Supplemental Recovery disk. I placed the Supplemental Recovery disk in and a couple minutes later, it said that the disk is installed is not the Supplemental Recovery disk. I have tried this numerous times with the same result. All the System Recovery disks including the Supplemental Recovery disk were ones I ordered directly from HP shortly after I received the computer.
There was nothing wrong with the PC before I wiped the drive. I have a newer computer now and am wanting to convert this pc into a media server.
