Hello,
The hard drive that had come with the original PC had died, so I have replaced it with a new one. Model: WD5000AZRX-00A8LB0.
After attemting to use the recovery discs that I had bought several years ago, I received an error message stating:
"This PC is not supported by the System Recovery Disks. You will not be able to continue to recover this system with these discs."
I had contacted Western Digital's support and they had determined that it was likely a bios issue because the model # listed in the setup screen did not match (WDBAAY5000ENC-NRSN).
How might I go about correcting this issue? Unfortunately I have come to the extent of my limited knowledge and I am not sure how to procced to correct this issue.
