I have an hp pavilion a810n with 2gb ram, 160 gb hard drive, 3300+ AMD athlon 64 processor, 2.4ghz processor speed, SIS 760 mirage 2 graphics. I would like to install 64-bit windows 7 on this machine. I have run the windows 7 upgrade advisor and it pointed out 2 things that I should be concerned about: 1)Windows Aero support. It says that my current graphics adapter won't support the Windows Aero user interface and that if I want to experience the benefits of Windows Aero, I should contact my PC's manufacturer to see if an upgrade is available. (Does this mean I need new graphics card? If so which one?) 2) SiS 900-Based PCI Fast Ethernet Adapter. It says that before installing Windows 7, I have to go to the device manufacturer's website to download the latest driver for this device. After installing Windows 7, I would have to install the saved driver. (I assume the HP website would have the necessary driver.)
If i do the things the advisor suggests, will I have a good experience with windows 7?
Thanks in advance
