How to image drive with SRT enabled caching SSD

Greetings,

I'm curious to know how are folks imaging drives with SRT enabled?

I have a zBook 15 with a SATA drive and enabled 64 GB Intel SRT cache enabled. I'm trying to create a base image of the system however it is not recognized when the SRT is enabled, under Linux. After disabling the cache, I am able to see it, however, unless I do a full image (dd), it won't properly image. Ideally I'd like to save a ton of space and time by having the image compressed with partimage (preferably with SRT on, but can disable / re-enable if necessary).

My assumption is the issue is I am using a Linux system, which has no support for Intel SRT. It is bleeding edge as far as the kernel / software versions go.

Any feedback on imaging or solutions are greatly appreacited!
