I have an HP 1126s Vision? with AMD A8-3800 APU Running Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 and Norton 360 Version 26.4.40. Today either the Norton or the Windows backup did not complete and I got the error message that the Hp Recovery was full and could not complete backup. I didn't send backups to the HP recovery. I always backup Windows to disc. Norton has been backing up online and they want me to buy more space. I don't want my backups to go online or to the cloud or anywhere but my discs. I deleted a file titled, N360 Backup from the HP Recovery drive but only gained from 1.73MB free to 1.4 GB free out of 11.5 GB. Files left in HP Recov are: Recovery Modified 12-23-2011, HP_WSD.dat Modified 12-9-2012, and HPSF_Rep Modified 5-11-2012.
What do I do next to free up space in HP Recovery?
