Hi folks. I'm new to the forum.
I have HP XS550EA with Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.
I wanted to restore my computer (only beacuse it was working slower than usual) to factory condition so I went through the correct steps as it guided me. I cut and pasted my documents to an external Hard Disk.
I proceeded with the steps and the system began restoring.
At the end of everything, before to start working, it gives me a dialog box " (Install Windows), Windows could not complete the installation. To install Windows on this computer, restart the installation." All restarts lead to this response and all safe mode restarts lead to one very similar only it mentions the safe mode aspect.
I tried to restore the pc by restoring CDs and by the internal Disk but the result is the same.
Any help would be appreciated.
