Windows 7 with Ratheon Video card
Needed to update my video drver, updated over and over but did not take. Ratheon suggested that I remove the existing driver and use cleansweep to get rid of driver residue. When I tried to re-install it would not take even though the program ran. Discovered that I did not have adequate administrative rights to make this change. To exasperate the problem, HP or Microsoft at HP's request modified windows so I with the help of AMD could not reset the rights the manage users/groups icon had been eliminated. It would take a Windows reload to get the full version not the modified version of Windows 7. I now have a computer that is good for a paper weight until I either buy or find my Windows disc all because I needed to update my video driver. And even then who knows if it will work, nothing else has.
