I got this computer roughly around 9 months ago and its already getting to the point where its unusable.
It started with minor lags here and there when I would randomly click on a program like google chrome for example and it would take its time before opening and over couple of weeks it got to the point where some programs wouldnt open period (excluding the programs that came with the computer) and now hardly anything is working not only nothing opens when i click on them but it wont let me uninstall some of them either and if i do manage to get a few to uninstall, it wont let me download them again. i did the system refresh multiple times and same results, it would until I got off but once I exit out of whatever program I was using it wont start again. My norton didnt detect any viruses when i did a full scan multiple times so that cant be the case either. like i said it started out with google chrome first and now its doing it to almost every program i have downloaded like media, games, etc. I'm starting to feel that buying an HP was completely a waste because I should not be having these problems not even a year of purchasing. The only thing that works now is microsoft office. I'm assuming its only a matter of time before that stops too. Everyone told me HP's were bad and I should not waste my money and I even knew a couple of people with the same problems only months into purchase. This is ridiculous.
I have a HP Pavilion 500 PC if that matters at all.
