I've got a HP Pavillion a6417c running 32bit Windows Vista.
I keep getting error 9996 (Your system does not meet the minimum requirements for this update. Update has been cancelled.)
From the documentation, all the requirements I see are to be logged in as the administrator and to be using Windows Vista. (I am logged in under the only user account on the computer, which is the administrator account.)
Has anyone had a similar issue or any ideas on how I can work around this? The update is for improving recognition of DL discs in the DVD drive, I've already wasted three discs trying different imaging software.
