To start off, my computer kept rebooting itself and it just wouldn't go into windows. I fixed it once by doing a system repair, but then after a week or so it started again and it couldn't even find my recovery images that I made in the past (which there definitly use to be some).
So, I made backups of my files on flash drive and did a full system restore. All went well; till I tried recovering my files. I have a few back up folders and three out of the four work fine, but when I try to recover the largest folder - Recovery Manager shuts down. The other files had no issues, but the biggest folder (with of course has the most important files) wont finish. It either stops after a little bit or doesn't start at all. The backup folder in question is 25 gigs and the flash drive is brand new. When asked to find a solution it just closes the program. The folder looks just like the others on the flash, and they all worked fine, but is the information lost? Or is it something to do with the Recovery Manager itself? Please any suggestion would help. The backup folder in question is 25 gigs and the flash drive is brand new. I hate thinking that I should have made a backup of a backup - just to make sure it worked.
Thank you! I hope someone can give a little glimpse of hope that my files aren't lost forever!
