For the longest time, looking in the D: Recovery drive, I would just see the word "Recovery" with a little pink symbol next to it.  Clicking on it would pop up the message about how you shouldn't mess with this drive or the files on it.

Today, I accidentally cliked on drive D:, and all the recovery files are visible.

The only new things I see in the D: drive is that there are two files, one named "diskearselog.txt" which is dated a year after the last install of Windows 7.  It just has a list of dates, times, and question marks after them.  the other file is dated last March, and is called, "urlinfo.txt".  It has a bunch of gibberish with "googlevideo" and "youtube" mixed throughout.

What changed?
