Skype and built in webcam

I have a 

HP G60-235DX Notebook PC Serial Number: 2CE9100K5G Product Number: NB042UA

I am wanting to video chat on Skype using my built in Integrated 5 in 1 digital media reader / HP webcam.  Skype is not recognizing the device.  I have followed EVERY HELPLINE I can find, and nothing is working.  Help!!!!
