I recently purchased a new Envy and while I originally planned on just using the 1TB HDD along with the 16GB cache for booting up, I've decided to go with a 120 GB 840 Samsung SSD for where I want my OS to be.

Having read through a bunch of the posts and having tried to do this myself last night, I know this is going to be a pain.  I did see some solutions on the message board that I'm going to try tonight and I don't want to go over old ground but I did not see anyone mention having a 16GB SSD cache that the computer boots from.  Does this make a difference in what I have to image?

If I am able to properly clone the current HDD can I dispense with the 16GB Sandisk Cache Drive?  I can live with keeping the 16GB boot disk, using the 120 GB SSD for my OS and finding another use for the 1 TB HDD but ideally I would like to boot straight from the 120 GB SSD and use the 1 TB HDD as extra storage space.

Thank you in advance for reading this.
