I'm having an issue with booting from a Backup exec system revocery CD, now in the past when encountering the same isssue and error code, i have turned off Data Execution Prevention in the BIOS it will then happily boot from the CD
With New prodesk 400 G3 SFF i can not see an option to disable DEP so everytime i boot from the CD its stops with an error
Any suggestions or workarounds would be greatly appreciated

Hello, I have a Pavilion 23-G010 All-In-One that came with Windows 8. I upgraded to Windows 10, but I kept getting blue screens, so I went back to Windows 7 Pro. I have three questions.
I'm trying to find out how to access BIOS to enable the VT-x setting, currently it is disabled in the BIOS for all CPU modes(VERR_VMX_MSR_ALL_VMX_DISABLED).
I tried the reboot, pressing f10 but it still brings me right to windows and not to BIOS.

Some time ago, I think I had a virus and so when I went to open any of the programs it said they'd been moved and did I want to remove the shortcuts.... after a while I managed to reinstall most of them that I really wanted and carried on.
I've noticed that the PC has been running quite slow and I had tried to install Google Chrome (prefer this to IE) and it wouldn't work. All my programs are working fine etc and so I decided to run the hardware diagnostic tool. I watched as it went through all the tests and they all passed except for one!!!... Samsung HD321HJ ATA Device, the random seek test passed but the SMART Short Self Test failed.... as a result the overall test was marked as 'Failed' and said to contact support.....
What the heck is this all about and how can I resolve this?

The Advanced Boot Option is the problem, to be exact, the lack of it.
When using the F8 key at boot up the only thing is happening the PC is beeping rapidly and the OS loading normally instead of getting into ABO.
(As I know the rapid beeping could signify hardware fault. I've tried the same f8 procedure with different keyboard, the outcome was the same negative one.)
Any ideas how to fix this?

I do not have Windows 7 x 64 installations DVD.
Tried to download in ISO from windows site, error message was the answer.
Suggestion was to get it from HP.

I will make this quick -> I replaced my HDD and didnt make a recovery copy, and cant find it anywhere. Called HP they say that they cant provide the recovery, and that I have to go Online to Microsoft, went to Microsoft and they say:

I tried to buy online via HP, and as soon as I place my order and pay, the site re-sends me to the HOME PAGE.
Where can I have/find my HP, can somebody that really speak english talk to me or somebody in USA that can take my call.

Constraints of time begin the installation os his keyboard and mouse do not work .
But when I try to install Windows 8 with a mouse and keyboard to function normally.

My HD crashed and I have replaced it. I also found a USB thumb drive installed inside the drive/memory bay (an internal USB port with a 16GB thumb drive plugged it). I had hoped this was a bootable recovery drive but I can't seem to get it to boot. What is this thumb drive for? Is it a recovery drive and I'm just don't know how to boot from it?
I recently purchased this All-In-One and now I am getting this error message. I have tried finding an email to contact HP Support and there is none.
HP computers are a pile of worthless crap!!!! Now I know what most companies use Dell. At least the computers operate with a system that isn't a pile of crap.
HP Support sucks and I would never recommend anyone buying one.
My laptop was thrown to the ground, rather hard (dont ask). Apparantly according to the only external damage, it landed right where the hard drive was stored.
My IT bloke at work who is pretty good tried running it through another computer but it said the device was unknown.
It appears that something within the hard rive has been damaged by kinteic energy.
I guess I have no options but to send this to a professional recovery service.
What are my chanced for a full data recovery?
i removed the CMOS , RAM and jumpers but stil lock BIOS and bootmenu,

I work for a school district and we have recently deployed approximately 200 HP 600 G2 SFF PCs with Windows 10 Pro. We have a handful or so (so far) that are randomly freezing. I have tried a completely fresh install of Windows 10 and let the PC sit and it still randomly freezes. It happens anytime between 5 minutes to 3 hours of just sitting. I cannot find anything in Event Viewer. I am lead to believe it is a hardware issue, but am unsure. I have ran HDD and memory tests and everything tests fine.
Any help is appreciated!
