recovery of operating system, replaced hard drive and memory now what?

My hard drive quit working on my HP Pavillion 23-g013w all in one computer. I replaced it with a new 1 TB hard drive. I also installed new 16 gb Crucial memory upgrade. All the new "hardware " is installed in the computer . When it came on it said"Please install operating system on your pc" I ran the memory check and the hard drive check and they both passed.

I got this All in one at walmart 2 years ago and it did not come with the recovery disc or they have been lost.

Is there a way to hook it up with ethernet and download the software I need ?

If not , what is my next best option ...or step ?

i did one disc but had to formatt the 2nd one not a problem with that but in the meantime the recovery program shut down tried to use it again but will let me carry on where i left off any one out there had this happen to them and if they managed to get going on it again as you only get one go at it which i dont think is very good

Win 7 upgraded to Win 10 ( 32 or 64 bit do not know ) now having bad/choppy video in movie maker saved to computer.

Is the display adapter ATI Radeon HD 4200 not compatible to this upgrade?

If replace the video card what is the compatible replacement part?

My computer desktop BM 422AA, AMD graphic type originaly home - win 7 32 bit.

Upgraded to win 10 - home 64 bit ( 10.0 , build 10586 )

Pls. help me to solve the choppy video...thanks

My PC is upgraded to Win 10 from Win 8 64 bit. I did create DVD recovery disks from the original system. Do I need to create new Recovery media. If I do, I'd choose a USB flash drive.

Would you give your opinion. This HP site has always been my go to site.

After calls to support and getting nowhere, I remembered that this model had a supplemental cache on the Motherboard which is a small circuit board held on by two small screws. Basically this is a type of SSD disk drive. It is designed to speed up access but many hybrid disk drives now include the same type of function directily on the disk. I removed the small circuit board and the problem went away. It made no difference in performance.

Hello,

My MediaSmart is not visible on the network.

It starts and makes noise and I assume it is loading OS and it starts properly.

Then on router page it is not visible as well as in the Explorer.

I have tried different to start it as directed by the manual without a result.

Could you please suggest another way to handle it? Thank you.

Hello, I have purchased HP ProDesk 400 G2 DM (P5K20EA).

It is necessary (compatibility issues) to downgrade it to Windows 7 (if it will not be preinstalled).

Seller says that "this option is hiden in the BIOS".

Please can you advise me how to reach it?

I tried upgrading an HP Omni 27-1054 from Windows 7 to Windows 10. Now it cycles through two error messages "WDF volation" and "inaccessible boot device," shuts down and cyces again. Microsoft techs tell me that the HP is missing necessary drives and that this is not Microsoft's problem. Does this sound right? Has anyone else had this problem? Any known solutions?

Grey Screen bug, Fails to wipe PC

Every couple of hours my PC's screen would just turn grey, no noice would continue in the background and I would have to shut it down to fix the problem. But after a bit I was sick and tired of this so I wanted to Wipe my PC and start fresh,but every time it would fail and now I have lost my operating software and since I bought the Software and PC as a pair I should be able to get it back for free (Software was Windows 8 64bit). How do I get it back???
