HP Client Security Setup problem
When I try to type my Windows password into the first screen of the Client Security Setup, I get a message saying that it does not match my Windows password. I'm sure that I typed it in correctly. I closed the setup, changed my WIndows password, then reopened it and tried again and it still gave me the same message.
I looked in the HP Client Security manual and it does say that this is the same password you'd use to log in to your windows account, so I don't understand why it wouldn't work. I'm certain that I have my password correctly each time. This has been a problem since I first decided to set up the security (a few months ago).

Bios 8 update for HPE h8-1100nl
Dear Comunitie
I have an new GEFORCE GTX 1050TI videocard. When i start my pc with this new video i can only see the bios splash screen and nothing futher happens. As i read multible forum posts with the same issue i always ran across the answer that it can be because of my current BIOS version(Current vesion is 7.12). As there is no official update is there a way HP can provide me with an BIOS update to version 8?

unable to access FACTORY IMAGE D drive
I was reading some of your suggestions on how to free up space in my FACTORY IMAGE D, by downloading the free commander program. I purchased the 64-bit full version of this program and ran it but all it show is a purple recovery drive and nothing else no yellow folders, nothing . I have1.19 GB of 13.6 GB available and this is after I reinstalled windows Vista back onto my computer two days ago. when I click on the D drive all I get is a warning that the recovery drives partitions cannot be accessed. what other way can I free up space and gain access to this drive? I will try and send you a couple of screen captures to show. Please help me!!!

Desktop won't finish installing Windows 10 Anniversary (1607) update.
I have a problem and been attempting to upgrade since December of last year. Regardless of the method it always stops at 83% and then fails. It just gives a generic error now in a popup: Windows 10 Installation has failed.

I have tried updating via the following means multiple times:
- Windows Update
- Media Creation Tool
- mouting the ISO directly on my hard drive
- burning the ISO/Windows 1607 to a DVD
I also ran system file check, DISM, windows trouble shooter. System file check and DISM did manage to fix some issues but not enough to allow a successful update. Those options can be found here:
I removed everything in the C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution folder. In fact, I renamed my C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution to SoftwareDistribution.old and attempted all the options above again. I also recently updated my BIOS to A.038 from A0.27 even though the BIOS upgrade mostly applied to the later Graphics card. Although, it had some security enhances per the details off HP's page.
In addition, I tried all the options above after disconnecting all peripherals except my keyboard, mouse and monitor. This included internal hard drives, speakers, printer, UPS and disabling my card reader driver and performing a clean boot with all Windows/start up programs diasbled. And it still fails @ 83% but just gets there quicker since it doesn't have all the other stuff to contend with. 
In short, I have just about exhausted all my options so it would be interesting to see what recommendations are given here. The only thing I have yet to try is yanking the NVIDIA GTX970 and running my monitor off one of the HDMI ports before attempting the upgrade. I've seen a few reports about graphics cards interferring with Win 1607 upgrades. Oh, I'm also conveniently out of my warranty peroid (slightly over a year) which I find entertaining to say the least. Not that I think it's an HP problem but like others my Dell and Toshiba PCs upgraded just fine using Windows update so...

HP Pavilion p6214y Desktop PC computer stays on but nothing works
This started a week ago, it did it once and than 3 days later happen again once than yesterday happen 3 times and today happened 5 times... what happens is i am randomly doing somthing on my computer and suddently the audio cuts out and screen goes blank but the thing is the computer is still on it is making some noise and the power button light is still on when I click the button to turn it off nothing happens so I have to unplug my computer so i can have it working again.Somthing kind of simular happen before about a year ago we had to get a new graphics card because one day it stopped working and nothing would display on the monitors (I do not know if it would turn on or not )I am wodering what fix my computer needs.

HP network check launcher
Hi there,
Can anyone tell me how to download HP network check launcher? I have searched everywhere, & cannot find what I am looking for.
I have HP network check launcher on my Chrome browser along with adblocker, but I can't seem to get HP network check launcher on my Edge browser.
Any ideas?

no boot disk has been detected or the disk has failed
My old hard drive crashed I think. I replaced the hard drive on my all-in-one and when I turn it on, I get the message 'no boot disk has been detected or the disk has failed' . I want to install Win 7 but when I put that into the CD drive, it won't boot. Is there something else I need to wake up the hard drive? Thanks for any advice!

HP Pro 3400 changed motherboard system recovery
I have replaced my HP Pro 3400 motherboard with a same type motherboard. The operating system windows 7 keeps on going to a system restore screen. It runs windows restore tool bust still fails to restore the system. Sometimes it opens the Recovery Manager but still fails to recover the operating system.

Update Bios for HP pavillion a6109n
I am trying to run a troubelshooting for constant crashing when using firefox. I discovered the BIOS was 5.09, when the latest version is 5.13.
But I don't seem to be able to update it. I found the downlaod file which is the update, but I got eror message 9998 when I tried to run it.
Any suggestions?
