I was restoring windows on my HP all in one desktop computer and I get a blue screen saying to press F1 to clear my computer's trusted platform module but nothing happens when I press F1 nor any other key for that matter. I've tried turing the computer on and off numerous times and nothing happens. I am stuck on this screen and my computer is completely unresponsive. please help.

Computer wont turn on after BIOS update!
Hi I really need help. I had a BIOS update last night after I restarted the computer all I get is a black screen with 8 beeps. I tried hard reseting my computer even removing and reseating the COMS with no help. I tried doing a BIOS recovery using the Windows and B key but it wont work not sure if I am doing something wrong or my board does not support that key function to get into the BIOS Recovery. Please help!

HP 20 - b014 failed hard drive
Hello,
I inherited an HP 20-b014 from my father a few years ago and the hard drive failed a few days ago. I replaced the hard drive and system recovery does not start when I press F11 when it is booting. My father was not provided system recovery disks in the box when the computer was purchased and there is not an option to order them from the HP support website. Does anyone know of any options that I have at this point? Also, HP is not very forthcoming with phone numbers or emails for customer support. Any help is much appreciated.

Need to do a fresh install of vista with no disc
I have an older HP Pavillion a6220n with vista running on it. It has become very slow - and the updater is not working. There are at least 100 updates that need to be installed but it won't do it. So, I'm thinking I should start fresh. However, I can't find the os disc. maybe it didn't come with one, I don't know. So, how do I go about doing a fresh install when I don't have the disc?

CQ58 Presario, Win7 Mouse freezes
I purchased this used PC as a supplement to another of the same I have had for some time that is shut down due to a different issue. This one came loaded with Windows 10, but had Windows 7 originally. The PC had several problems, including the one I have now, and the OS I found to be miserable. I reloaded the orginal Win7 that I had used and it worked except for the one problem I now have, and which was one that had existed in the Win10 OS as well.
After many attempts with various suggested help for the problem, I finally decided to try several things. First was to change the mouse. I put on a brand new one to no avail. I ran self-tests, checked to insure all updates, and checked for any system or hardware failutres. All to no avail with the problem.
I finally resorted to a rather extreme measure. After a full backup onto an external drive, I did a complete Low Level Format to check the drive, and to re-write it to all zeros as new. Afterwards I reinstalled Windows 7 from the HP supplied set for a new PC; Set Number QE413AV System Recovery, 4 disc.
Before loading any of the backed up files I tried the PC. This was even prior to loading my online connection, or printer.
The problem still existed, and gets worse the longer I am on and using the computer.
The problem? The mouse freezes and may, or may not come back on it's own. At times the screen will flash to black. Also, at times the keyboard will also freeze and not respond. Also, at some of these times I get the tone signals such as with the various notices built into the sound program. If I get a first tone, then a different one for a second the mouse
will work again for a while. On some occasions it will not work again until I unplug the mouse and plug it back in again.
The same method works for the keyboard as well. Nothing attempted has changed or corrected the problem.
If this issue is not bad enough, the PC works even slower when this happens, which is, in and of itself, a problem when attempting to handle some time critical tasks.
Now, since this system has been out as well as this model of PC since about 2009, there should be enough info on the problem in all that time to have a solution. Why, then, have I not found any listed anywhere?

Simple Save Crashes when I try to retrieve data
Hello, I am trying to retrieve some data I lost in my laptop, and when I try to access the Simple save, first it takes a long time to load, then when it finally loads and I click on the computer I want to access, it crashes. The message says that Windows had a problem and is closing the program. (I have Windows 10).

HP 110-430 will not boot
I recklessly went into my HP desktop 110-430 using alt-control-delete into task manager and deleted files I thought were slowilg down my PC.
Obviously not knowing what I was doing, the PC now sounds like it goes through it's normal start up cycle but does not send signal to monitor so I have no idea what it is doing. Suspect I may have disabled/deleted the file that supports the display. Can anybody out there help to set it back to defaults? There was a default back up on the PC but I did not get a disk with the new purchase 3-4 years ago.......and with no display, cannot reset to defaults.
