Ok, after reading through many of the forums questions and performing the advised fixes for installing Win 7 I have hit the same snag as many others have. I have a USB - Flash drive with a Windows 7 boot disc (from the Win7 bootdisc tool) Since I do all of my family and friends tech support. I went through and disabled Secure boot, I enabled Legacy support, no after seeing the USB boot device in the boot select menu, I choose that option and get into the Win 7 installation and there are no recognized HDD devices in the list to install Win 7 to.
Do I need to first go into the UEFI - Boot device and then it will let me install win 7? Or is there something I am missing? Do I have to make the USB device GPT compatible? If so how do I do that? Or is this issue specifically related to UEFI?
On a final note, in the suggested fixes for installing Win 7, it is mentioned that if there are no UEFI options available in the boot manager (Selector) then there may need to be modification made to the USB drive to allow it to be used to install Win 7, what are these modifications? Thank you for your time and effort.

Rich
