Finding OEM PC-Doctor files for Media Center PC running XP

I have an HP Media Center M7664x running XP SP3.  It has had multiple upgrades since 2008 including maxed out RAM, new PS, New Graphic Card and a second large HD strictly for data storage while HD C is strictly the OS and programs.

Drive C crashed a year ago or so and while I had installed all the previous hardware upgrades I had the local PC shop install the new HD and most importantly do all the tedious OS installation and upgrades.  They did not install or use any of the non essential original HP firmware including PC-Doctor.

After several years of flawless service and fast efficient service my PC began struggling with streaming Netflix overnight with an adequate frame rate and other programs, browser tabs etc are EXTREMELY slow to open or close.  Multiple malware and spyware scans have come up empty.  I also use Iobits Advanced System Care which has largely been responsible or associated with my trouble free use the last few years.  While it occasionally makes a few tweaks no major issues have been detected there either.

I want to use PC-Doctor as I had before to try to debug for either RAM modules gone bad or a failing HD again among other things. Unfortunately four hours of searching have only yeileded updates to PC-Doctor for downloads that won't install without having PC-Doctor already installed.  PC-Doctor 5 is what came with the PC.

I did have a PC-Doctor DOS bootable disk with the .iso file but my PC won't boot to it despite having the correct boot sequence to do so.  Since my PC still runs but very slow I would prefer to use the non DOS version anyway.

I did find an older version of PC-Doctor (SP23982) that I thought indiccated it would run in Windows as well but only produced an ISO file to burn to CD. This despite seeing breifly a Windows based PC-Doctor window open during installation (splash screen?).  Searching program files only brings up the .iso file and a text file.

So I need to find a download of the original non updated OEM PC-Doctor for Windows somewhere.  I do still have the recovery discs and a supplimental recovery disc but I am paranoid about trying to use them.  The last time I put one in my drive to look for an tools or something like a seperate PC-Doctor program to install it went into restore mode reinstalling the OS which I absolutely did NOT want to do.

Q1.  Does anyone know where I can download the original PC-Doctor OEM software (not an upgraded version)?

Q2  Is there any likelyhood of being able to find this program on the supplimental recovery disc without the disc reformatting and reinstalling the OS?

I think I will shoot myself if I ever have to do that again do to all the lengthy update downloads, installation steps ad nauseum even with a cable ISP.  Thanks for any help you can offer in locating this specific hardware.  I'm at my witt's end for something that should be very simple to find on this site for download.
