Hello all,
My trusty HP Pavillion A6620F hard drive died.
The old drive is a Seagate Barracuda 7200.1 500GB drive SN [Personal Information Removed]
I replaced it with a WD 1.0T SATA 64 MB Cache Blue drive SN [Personal Information Removed]
I tried to reinstall windows Vista from the boot discs I had made earlier and all three discs loaded then:
Windows setup could not configure windows to run on this computer
came up. I have been searching for a solution but none seem to specifically match.
The BIOS recognizes the drive, and the rest of the info for the computer is:
Product FQ515AA-ABA
Serial MXU84103S6
Software Build 84NAv6PrAZ.
Any help is appreciated
