Hi, I just bought a new HP computer with Win 8, because nobody sells computers with Win 7. My computer is a HP Pavillion 14 Notebook 14-n026la
After 2 days I had enough, want to be back to Win 7. Win 8 makes no sense, and is slow, among other privacy issues I don't like. Also I need some programs for work that are not supported on Win 8. I've been told that you loose your hardware guarantee if you change to win 7? Can that be true?
Pelase let me know, in that case I'll take the computer back to the store right away and change it for another computer from another hardware brand. I still have one week left.
If that is not true, the second question is. Can I find drivers for my new HP computer for Win 7? Will the computer work OK? Reading some posts here I see that HP says that they will not provide drivers for Win 7 for new computers. (If that's true, that's so crazy. Do you think we are downgrading just for the fun of it? Nobody wanted to downgrade from Win7 to Vista, or from XP to Win 98). Those posts are relatively old, so I hope HP has changed its mind in all this time.
