Windows 10 Compatibility-How do I get my Computer tested by HP?
Using the HP Assistant, the action list includes getting my PC tested by HP for Windows Compatibility. Everytime I click the red button to do that, I get a generic response saying that Computers manufactured before August of 2013 may not be compatible.
My question is how and where do I get it tested to find out if it is compatible. My computer was manufactured in 2011.
Is it automatically not compatible?

Product Key Question for HP Envy Phoenix
I have seen this question and I have seen answers, but nothing that helps, so here goes:
1. HP Envy Phoenix hard drive died with Windows 8 installed
2. Ordered $25 restoration disks
3. Put in new hard drive and restored computer
4. Did upgrade to Windows 10
5. Have permanent watermark saying activate windows, go to settings to activate windows
6. Need windows activation key and have error: "Activation failed because this device doesn't have a valid digital entitlement or product key. Error code 0x803F7001
I understand the key is in the bios. I reinstalled from HPs DVDRs which I purchased. Is there any solution short of calling HP or paying for a key?

the problems with window's has forced me to study Steve Jobs & Bill Gates. I am positive that Bill Gates has became a member of the new world order. the bank's are still locked up for the poor starting new ventures, from the 08-09 meltdown & bailout of the poor, & bill Gates was at 1 time a part of these people. Now this pc is geting old & also need a laptop. I am still using a hard line for my internet connection. All windows upgrade is so the Elite can control us. well I can not afford internet anymore as I need it. Windows 7 Not valid?
I bought my PC with Vista and it came with a free upgrade to 7 which I did. Now i keep getting "Not a Genuine Windows Product." When I contacted Windows about it they said its not a valid Product Key. How do I resolve this? IS there a way to get recovery software to bring the PC back to factory?

A Few Driver Questions Regarding Pavilion a1777c
Gentlemen,
I'm looking to get Vista drivers for a Pavilion a1777c. I notice that on the driver download page for this model that some of the downloads are available as either 32 or 64 bit. The operating system drop-down box only lists "Vista" with no 32 or 64 bit designations. Does it matter which bit rating the original installation media from HP used? I currently have a Vista 32 bit disk, so can I use that even if the original HP-installed version was 64 bit? I know I can't use 64 bit drivers with a 32 bit installation, I'm wondering whether it matters whether I install the the same bit-version of Vista that the computer shipped with.
I don't see any chipset drivers on the driver download page. Traditionally, this is is the first set of drivers you install. I see a bios update, a Intel ViiV software update and drivers for an Intel Matrix Storage Manager, but this is as close as anything seems to come to chipset drivers. Does the driver download page actually have everything needed or do I have to go to ASUS (who made the P5LP-LE motherboard) for actual chipset drivers? If the latter, I don't know why these drivers wouldn't be listed on the HP driver download page, or at least a notation and link to go directly to ASUS.
Also, I notice a Roxio Creator Application update. Since I don't have the original installation material would it be a waste of time trying to install this software? I installed drivers for another HP computer that had a Roxio update and the update would not install because it couldn't find any earlier version to update. Same deal here?

I want to delete the hp_tools partition and create a new partition. However i want to create a bootable disk with hp_tools on it. How and where can i find to download hp_tools to create a bootable disc with hp_tools in it so that i may use if any need arises in the future.

Windows 10 update error?
I've been trying to get my PC upgraded to windows 10 while it's still free right now and every time I do so It gives me an erorr message without saying what the message means on the windows site. I don't know how to fix the error since what little they say of it doesn't get fully discussed on their forums, instead they all do their work in a call which helps me minimaly at best currently. Is there a way to get my PC set up to fix this issue in a short time? I have classes that I'm needing this computer for in the evening.

So I asked him how's that even possible, so he tols me that there are hackers who tryied to get my email, and then he asked if I want to know how many hackers Log in my account and told me that just press the window button and R at the same time. But then I remember what my brother told me about his brother's computer that someone called or clicked on screen and then suddenly there is already controlling his computer. all in one 20-e014 (energy star) trouble creating recovery media
Hi,
I have an HP All in one PC 20-e014 (Energy Star)
Since purchasing it, I have installed a few programs (aol for email, skype, and Rosetta Stone for Spanish).
Last week I recevied an altert telling me to create recovery media.
I went with the 3 DVD option and successfully downloaded the files for **bleep** 1.
Using the exact same DVDs (capable of holding 8.5 GB), I tried and tried and tried to complete **bleep** 2.
One of the disks actully loaded 100% of the data and then kicked out the **bleep** before the image was varified (down load failed).
My computer tells me to retry the download for disk 2 - but I can't find any DVDs with a capacity over 8.5 GB.
The Rosetta Stone program is roughly 22,500 KB big and the biggest program I have added to my system since purchase.
So, will it do me any good to delete the Rosetta Stone progam and retry the download for disk 2 or am I just bumping my head against a wall?
