Whenever i log into my account on windows and the desktop begins to load the screen blacks out and the desktop begins to reload. the desktop begins to reload again but the screen returns to blacking out, this issue continues to im stuck looking at a screen that keep flashing leaving me unable to do anything on the computer. if i press CTRL+ALT+Delete the flashing stops until i return to try and load the desktop. how do i resolve this ?

Network Controller Driver or Restore Disc Needed!
My computer came with XP originally, but I eventually upgraded to Vista with no problems - I even used the disc a few more times in the future as a system recovery method. This time around, however, it installed but with no internet connection. In Device Manager, it shows that the network controller has a yellow warning sign beside it, as well as audio and graphics. The main thing I'm interested in is connecting to the internet so Windows Update can probably fix the rest of missing stuff.
I've scoured the internet almost-endlessly to find the network controller drivers. The network adapter drivers are loaded fine, but without the network controller it won't recognize that there's a cable already plugged in (I've already checked both-ends, re-plugged several times, even wiggled to make sure contacts were meeting).
I should also mention I no longer have the original restore disc. Restore points are useless, since the restore point is Vista's incomplete installation (I've reinstalled once since discovering this problem with same results).
It won't let me contact HP support directly, says I can only go here. Do you guys have the network controller drivers/whatever I need available? Otherwise, I'd like to buy a new restore disc.
I paid hundreds for this at the time. Please don't tell me that I've got a hunk of junk with no more support.

HP Omen 870-130 White screen
Greetings,
I received my computer yesterday and as of today I began updating my drivers. It looks like when I went to update the Graphic Card is when my issue began, which was a message screen popped up stating an error occurred and the system needs to restart. Upon restart, I now have a blank white screen. So, apparently the graphic card update (likely before a windows compatible driver update occurred) is causing my issue and I can't F8. Tried...and got blue windows logo, but then white. I did not activate it via settings so....

Unknown device on paviloin slimline s5306
I have a uknown device attached to usb hub location on intel R 82801g (ichh7 family) usb2 enhanced controler 277cc i have tryed all the advice in deleting this i can find even recoved the factory setting and a clean copy copy of windows 7 home premium this made no differance.
This all started when a printer i had had a error all lights blinking tryed to resolve the problem but now the printer will power up hp deskjet f2400 serices print i deteled this printer but the problem still was still there since then i have up graded to windows 10 and the problem is still with me i have updated on windows and hp had no effect. just keeps com back unknown device device descriptor failed code 43 all my usb ports do not work till i desable this device this root hub i am prity sure its the printer that caused this problem i unaleble to find any ids for this device just unknown device can any one help thanks

Another reason for Low Disk Space on Recovery D: warning?
After reading through numerous threads on this problem, I have yet to find the reason I suspect my client is receiving this warning message and I need to see if there is a way to increase the size of the Recovery partition. I doubt it needs to be increased by much, but it definitely needs a little breathing room.
First, I'll let you know that I checked to make sure restore points weren't being amassed there and filling up all available extra space.
The space allocated for Recovery Drive D: was perfectly adequate, as long as the computer was running Windows 8.1. Once the machine was upgraded to Windows 10 (and subsequent 10 upgrades), that space was no longer enough. Now, when Windows Update tries to install regularly issued updates, it cannot complete the process because 'there is not enough space on the Recovery Drive'.
The space allocated for the Recovery Drive on this machine is 27.3GB. There is only 1.96MB of space left. I'd like to increase the size of the Recovery Drive by only 1or 2GB. Is that possible?
And, what type of regularly issued update would add anything to the Recovery Drive?
(I also noticed other posters reporting a similar scenario, with this happening after upgrading from one OS to another, but no one addressed that as being a possible reason.)

Series of Beeps
Hi,
I am looking to buy this secnd hand but upon trying to inspect it, I have a problem.
When I switch on I am getting a series of beeps. They follow the sequence of 3 low type beeps followed by 4 high beeps. The sequence runs 5 times and then the Computer starts up but shows a Keyboard error, then the Windows 10 home screen.
The Touchscreen is unresponsive.
I have looked on the HP Support site and tried to follow the troubleshooting. When I look it appears, I thnk to be a Hardware problem . However the troubleshooting section does not say that the Computer starts up, in their particular scenario, this does.
Should I avoid it or is it worth tring to fix?
Would appreciate your thoughts.

Dead Computer/Is it worth it?
I just use this strictly to play games off line. Unit won;t turn on and all I get is a pulsing green light in the back. I removed the power supply and tested it and it appears to be good. I did the simple tries, like disconnecting the power plug and holding the on/off switch in 10 secs and also the voltage selection swith back and forth a couple of times. Then I jumped the green and black wires on the connector that goes to the mothere board from the power supply (out of the unit) and the fan went on and the green light went on steady. Although it appears there might be something in the plug receptacle that is going bad, since the green light went off and when I jiggled the plug it went back on. So, I put everything back together, plugged it in and I'm back to the blinking green light and thinking about that plug receptacle malfunctioning I tried to jiggel and it didn't do any good. Leads me to believe that there is something bad beyond the power supply. Any suggestions? Thanks

If I restore backed up data back into my PC(after service). would I be restoring corrupted data?
My PC would not boot up. it would show a recovery blue screen stating tha: Boot configuration data for pc is missing. called Hp and they fixed the problem, prior to that I was able to back up my data. Now that I have my pc back, I wonder if I restore these data back into my pc, would I be restoring corrupted data into my PC? is it safe to use it? not sure, help.

Windows 10 1607 anniversary upgrade fails, unable update Reserved partition
Upgraded my HP Pavilion 500 PC from Windows 7 to Windows 10 without a problem and have been running updates without issues.
Now trying to run 1607 anniversary update keep getting "Unable to update reserved partition". Whe I check using "diskmgmt.msc", check properties, right click on Disk 0, I see 100 MB and 100% free.
I would have thought there would be a better solution than to go to a web site that wished to sell you software and provide a complex set of instructions.
Any ideas??

HP PAVILION G4 LAPTOP

Softpaq does not apply to the system, no Hp Recovery Manager Installed, no backup provided
Problem = Not Recovery Manager Installed from factory
What I Need = A clean install in an new faster drive (or in the same drive if that matter)
About the computer
- HP ProDesk 600 G1 SFF
- Windows 8.1pro 64 bits
- BrandNew computer (6 months of use, I know is an older model but it was unpacked last year)
- No CD's DVD's came in the box
- 1 partition of 10gb says Recovery
- Hard drive works just fine
- Everything works just fine
Atempts
- Windows doesnt see the Recovery Partition when in recovery mode
so I asume its an HP Recovery Manager Partition or something different
- Have tried every option in the windows 8 OS startup (non have worked so far)
- An option in the windows recovery menu recovers the windows but wont let me do a
"clean install"
- Tried to install Hp Recovery Manager and it says
"Softpaq does not apply to the system, no Hp Recovery Manager Installed"
Have 3 PC's with exactly the same thing
Any thoughts? Solutions?

USB Driver xw9400 windows 10
Upgraded from VISTA to Win8 and then Win10 last year. Everything ok...almost...USB controller driver not recognized and a default one is being used but is not reading/controlling USB. I get the bing when plugging and unplugging USB but nothing else...no action.
WHen I look at the driver list, it shows the USB driver as unknown...does anyone have a valid driver for the USB Controller?
