system recovery needed
My system has been "wiped clean" and I do not have recovery disks. Is there a way to create those disks from a download? I tried going through Microsoft, but since my computer was preloaded I needed to contact HP. When going through the HP site, I am offered this forum for help (my guess is because my warranty is expired).
Any guidance would be appreciated.

hp all-in-one windows 10 oem iso
I purchased an HP 18-5210 All-in-One computer last year (May 2016), which came with Windows 8.1 preinstalled. Of course, I almost immediately upgraded to Windows 10. Unfortunately, the activation key that was supplied with the upgrade does not work with the Windows 10 ISO file that I downloaded from Microsoft.
Presumably I need an OEM installation disk from HP that would accept the new activation key. Can anyone please provide a download location where I can download the HP OEM ISO?

Touchsmart ACPI and OSD driver issue
I have a HP Touchsmart 600-1152 running Windows 10 Pro licesned. I7 Q720 Nvidia Geforce GT 230 Nextwindow 1950 6 gigs of ram 1TB WD Primary Hard Drive. Clean Install everything works fine no connectivity issues.
My problem is the ACPI and OSD drivers for the Volume +/- on the side of the computer and the home button on the front of it. Niether of them work. the volume buttons on the keyboard work the function keys on the key board work the touch screen works. Just those buttons dont.
Please is there any way to force install/modify/or remap those buttons ? I'm pretty good at following instructions any help would be very appricated.
I have the Driver sp46272. error code 9998 pops up saying system doesnt meet minimum requirments.
Now i have done compatibily mode I have tried a windows 7 install then upgrade still no luck.
No it is not a hard ware issue.
No it is not a permission issue.
Please no useless trouble shooting.
Just a Remaping instructions or and simple mod of the file itself or a different file to install to restore the simple function of these keys.
thank you for any assistance

Roll back to Windows 7
I upgraded to Windows 10 from Windows 7 and want to roll back to WIndows 7.
The Microsoft website says that because my product came with a preloaded version of Windows 7 I need to contact HP about this. My warranty expired a long time ago. What can I do about this?
Thanks, R.
Re: Audio playing from both internal and external speakers.
Hi Chimney,
Thanks so much for your help.
I ended up going to Windows Support, prior to your Post, they did a remote fix.
Again, i thank you for your Support on my issue!
I have another issue that maybe you can help me with. Yesterday, out of the blue, my PC Screen turned Solid Yellow then Red, then blue, then Green, all were solid color. Next my PC shuts down, goes in Repair mode. The PC was unable to repair itself.
I have HP Windows 8 Recovery Media Disc's, which my factory installed system. I reinstalled, but Windows Activation will not or cannot read my Product Key from the BIOS.
How may I recover this key? What are my options?
Any input would be extremely welcome!

(Re)installing HP-furnished software after doing a "clean install" of Windows 7 (to replace Vista)
I've had an HP Pavilion Desktop PC for the past 8 years, still running on Windows Vista. Been very happy with it. However, I just learned that Microsoft will no longer be supporting Vista after March 2017. So, I've purchased a new Microsoft Windows 7 disc (with authentication key) for doing a clean OS install on my HP desktop. The disc allows me to select the "Upgrade" option, which will only replace the Vista OS, or the "Custom" option which will completely wipe the entire HP hard drive of everything and install only the Windows 7 Home Premium OS. If I choose the later, I will lose the pre-installed software that initially came with the HP computer. I have backed up all my files elsewhere and also I have "Recovery Discs" that I made years ago for this HP, which contain all the HP pre-installed software. I have read that doing the "Upgrade" option frequently begets post-installation problems and that it is better to do a "Custom" clean install of the Windows 7 to prevent that. MY QUESTION: If I do the full clean "Custom" install of Windows 7, can I then retrieve some of the HP pre-installed software (e.g., Cyberlink DVD burner software tools, PC-Doctor Hardware Diagnostic Tool, and a few others I want to keep) from the "Recovery Discs" and (re)install them on the HP Pavilion? If so, how do I do that? Can I call up "System Recovery" from the Recovery Discs while in Safe or BOOT mode and install on the hardrive ONLY those few HP-furnished software programs I want to keep?
HP_Recovery
Hello All,
Need Help.
My HP laptop crashed and unable to recover.
Pulled out the 2.5" SATA hard drive and bought myself an enclosure with 3.0 USB.
Hooked up the USB hard drive enclosure to my other laptops to recover the files but to my surprise i cannot open/view the files.
my other laptop (not HP) recognizes the harddrive and says that it is about 75% full but when i click on the only folder "HP_Recovery" , it says this folder doesnt contain any files.
How do i view/open my files ? is there some sort of HP key tool i need ?
Any help is appreciated.
Error code B10HD1
Upon starting my computer (it had been turned off for a couple days) it would not boot. I got into set up and ran tests with the following results: CPU Test passed, Memory Test passed , Hard Drive- Connection Test Failed error code B10HD1
I also got an error message "no boot disk has been detected or the disk has failed."
There is a beeping noise coming from around the hard disk while the computer is trying to start - I had the cabinet side open to check the wiring connections and all were OK.
I tried to use a recovery disk but got a error message that the hard drive was smaller that originally installed in the computer so recovery would not work. However, the hard drive is original.
I have all my data backed up but hopefully there is a way to recover this drive so I do not have to reinstall all the programs.
i would appreciate any suggestions.
Thanks

Need OS for new hard drive.
My hard drive has crashed. I will replace it, but M$ won't let me download the ISO because my product key comes from an OEM (HP) installed version. HP doesn't show any software for my model HPE-410F. How do I get Windows 7 reinstalled to my new hard drive?
HP & Microsoft programs were installed on 1/22/2032 ????
Okay, I'm in the Twilight Zone and did some time travellling. I've had this computer since 2015. And it has never worked great. The keys will stick periodically. And yes, I've changed out keyboards and mice and the whole enchilada.
And, I did online tech support; then shipped it out 3 time to the HP headquarters. And nobody could fix it.
I'm wondering if this is the problem. Today I was looking at the control panel and numerous programs listed as being installed on 1/22/2032
They include:
Energy Star
HP Support
Miscrosoft-Visual Ctt 2005
HP Documentation
Microsoft Visual Ctt 2005
7-Zip 920
Microsoft Visual Ctt
Realtek Ethernet Conroller Driver
Realtek Card Reader
Cyberlink Power Director
HP Simple pass.
